- Is it possible to do level 1 on the first day and level 2 on the second day?
No, it's either the Level 1 or Level 2. On both courses parts from Day 1 is re-used on Day 2.
- When will the online training videos be available ?
The online training videos will be available during Q2 2008. While the online training videos covers some of the Level 1 and Level 2 areas, it's not the same as attending the "real" courses, but they cover enough to pass the Level 1 and Level 2 certifications.
- Is it possible to take both Level 1 and Level 2 or are the classes held at the same time?
We always run the classes at the same time. We do this to make sure that people meet and get inspired from eachothers classes in the breaks and during the long lunch. We once considered running the courses in a row so you could take both, but the feedback has been that they're so intense that two days is enough.
- Can I take the level 2 course if I have not done level 1?
Yes, as long as you know the basics of umbraco you'll be able to enjoy the Level 2 course. However, we do recommend taking the Level 1 course to get all the basics right, even if you find your self a skilled umbraco implementator - there's a lot of gems and best practices covered in the Level 1 course.
- Hi, Could you let me know how much the course will cost in Euro, many thanks
The course cost around 800EUR (as of exchange rates in April 2008). To get the exact number in Euros, try the Universal Currency Converter and add "6000" DKK and choose EUR as target currency.
- Any good hotels you would recommend?
The Cab-inn City hotel is very nice for budget - close and always nice and clean, The Copenhagen Island Hotel is nearnby and so is the Copenhagen Marriott. A more comprehensive list can be found on All Hotels Copenhagen.
- What do I need to bring
You'll need to bring your self for a start - rebooted, rested and ready for two intense days. Then you'll need to bring your own laptop. We found that this works better than having machines ready, as you're working in your usual environment and you get all your pieces with you home. If you come from abroad, make sure to bring a power adapter - in Denmark we use the European Standard two pins.
